Hi everyone. Well, I am writing here for the first time even though it was a collective idea of creating a platform where all of you could simply soak into the pleasure of films. My idea first was to do an introductory video blog on this post but nonetheless, that will be happening pretty soon.

One fine day, just as we were walking out from the movies, an idea popped in Chirag’s head. And well, you now know where we are digging in with that idea- this is all about films. And believe me, when we say it is all about films, it actually is. We have really not missed a single movie unless there is a civil riot in the city and going out is pretty dangerous. Then we just plug into the old beautiful classics, like Godfather!

So now we are a few Hollywood reviews old and we thought why not tell you a more about what we can really do in here. Of course, reviews is a big part of the whole treat, but with time to come, we will jump into a whole pool of goodies in terms of knowledge, fun and loads of filmy understanding.

I eventually discussed with my co-writer about how far can we take this and the list could be endless. We are not just about movie reviews but a plethora of other things such as news, resources, insights, views, interviews and yes, something that is highly requested from your side. When we do video blogs, it could be just anything starting from talking about a new movie or a new TV series.

Why Film-O-Verse?

When we were picking up a name for Film-O-Verse, there were a gazillion things I remember writing in my red book. Reaching to Film-O-Verse as a name took us a few hours but we are really happy about it. Also, having a film background ourselves, we knew this is something that we always wanted to do. While Chirag could talk about everything which is resourceful, I wanted to add in a little more general opinion about the world of films, about how you and I might look at it. After all, films are like paintings, everyone has a different opinion about what they see. We are film fanatics, to an extent that we can read films too.

Who are we?

Now I always love to answer this question because there is so much to talk about it then. So I am a struggling never been engineer turned aspiring lawyer turned accidental partial architect turned unfortunate marketing graduate and a Writer (pretty much of everything). While Chirag is a pretty successful filmmaker with a few similar accidents like mine. We met in a similar such accident during a photo exhibition and ever since stuck to each other or better and better. He has a movie bug which eventually I developed too and we are big time foodies. As much as we are in love with everything of films, we love travelling and that will definitely make us do a travelogue one day and show it to all of you!

We are not just about movie reviews but a plethora of other things such as news, resources, insights, views, interviews and yes, something that is highly requested from your side.
